6th Annual Summer Institute
May 31-June 18, 2021 | Online Courses
The McGill Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health is pleased to announce our dates for next summer. To safely welcome as many participants as possible, the Summer Institute will be 100% online in 2021.
The McGill Summer Institute focuses on the most current best practices, research trends, and implementation science relating to infectious diseases. Staying up-to-date and connected to other infectious disease professionals is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, the Summer Institute will offer courses on TB control, essential diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship, pandemic control (including HIV and COVID-19), humanitarian action, and clinical updates in tropical medicine.
Infectious disease and global health practitioners, as well as students, will find that our 2021 courses will deliver the same high-quality teaching we are known for–and in an online format and structure that is professionally designed to be easily accessible and very engaging.
The McGill Summer Institute features internationally known faculty, a focus on highly applicable new knowledge, and an opportunity to network with fellow global health professionals from around the world. The unique format of short non-credit professional development courses attracts a diverse group of participants, from industry leaders to NGO’s, academics and researchers, and advocacy group members.
Hosted by McGill Global Health Programs, the McGill International TB Centre, the JD Maclean Centre for Tropical Diseases, the MUHC-RI (Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health) and the McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity.
